Airtel sets sights on promotion of local art

Chavula: We are promoting local art.

As one way of promoting local art Airtel Malawi, has launched edition of the Voice Africa, a platform where seven lucky artists are expected to stand a chance to represent the country in competing with others from at least fourteen countries.

Later, the countries are expected to produce 7 best winners that are expected to compete and has a chance to win a grand price of 100 Dollars.

Speaking to MIJ Online, Nora Chavula Chirwa, Head of brands for Airtel Malawi said to qualify, artists have to subscribe through online Airtel platforms and must not be underage.

The due date for submissions for entry videos are expected to finish on the 11st of November this year.

The whole process will run till September next year and Chavula has since encouraged artists to submit their videos for them to be shortlisted for participate in the competition.
