Array Networks, a United States of America networking hardware company has partnered a Malawian Information Technology company Luna Technologies in provision of unrivaled cyber security services to companies in the country.
Through the agreement, Luna Technologies, Malawi will extend Array’s APV Series Application Delivery Controller, Web Application Firewall, AVX Series Network hyperconverged Infrastructure and range of solutions to enterprises, Banks and Government Organization across their network in Malawi.
Meanwhile, Jayesh V, Regional Sales Head for Africa Region at Array Networks has described the latest partnership as worthwhile for Malawi’s industry where also some companies are susceptible to cyber-attacks with the phenomenon growing across the globe.
“This agreement today is landmark as we expand our team and the capabilities of the Array Networks in Malawi to help our customers achieve Security, Access, scalability, performance and security. As Array continues to grow and expand, we aim to work together in commitment to offer tremendous business benefits to its customers,’’ he said.
According to Jayesh, the two will also be working with government entities and other private bodies most of whom have already shown interest in the innovations.
On his part, Warren Nkonjera, Luna Technologies Managing Director has said the agreement offers a required opportunity for local companies to secure their data, resources and funds given rising cases of cyber-attacks.
