CDH supports IPMM conference

CDH Investment Bank has donated K5 million to the Institute of People Management Malawi (IPMM) to support the 2026 annual conference, which is set for 21 _ 23 October 2026 at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi.

The event carries the theme: “Future-ready HR: Building Talent for Malawi’s Digital and Green Economy”.

Presenting the cheque in Blantyre, CDH Investment Bank’s Chief Human Capital Development Officer, Mr Chrispin Chikwama, said CDH Investment Bank decided to support the conference to contribute to the dialogue which will challenge the nation to invest in every organisations most valuable resource, people.  and equipping them

Chikwama stated that the conference will provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss how to equip people, with the digital skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving global environment, while embedding green practices which safeguard the nation’s future.

Accepting the donation, Orphan Mapopa Chirwa, Treasurer General of IPMM, thanked the Bank for the donation.

Chirwa expressed gratitude for the support, which he said was a timely boost ahead of the annual conference and called for other organisations to support the conference.
