Inkosi ya Makosi Maseko Gomani V from Ntcheu has called upon the Ngoni people to exercise unity and peace for the country to achieve various socio-economic goals.
Speaking on Saturday during a visit at Village headman Chomveka ground in Lumbadzi the Ngoni Chief said various plans including the Malawi 2063, required continue support fropm the citizenry for them to be fruitful.
He also employed the people to indulge in business and farming activities which will help their families to grow economically.
“As Ngoni people let us respect other people’s culture for peace, love and unity to prevail in this country. Let us not bring each other down, we are one people,’’ he said amid a resounding handclap by his subjects.
In his remarks, Village headman Chomveka hailed Inkosi Gomani V for his visit which is the first of its kind.
