Umodzi Party has urged Timothy Mtambo, leader for the Citizens for Transformation to take the nation into sound calls for change into leadership related roles.
The party has reacted following a recent presser where he dared government on socio-economic shortcomings which he said required Malawians to speak against.
But, the Umodzi Party through its interim leader Wezzie Kaumba, the remarks by Mtambo do not correlate describing them as rather bitter coming from someone who held a ministerial post before.
According to Kaumba, until now there is need for activists like Mtambo to spearhead positive criticism to the regime.
However Mtambo insisted that he took up the ministerial position as a national duty and not a basis at which he may not advise government.
