Former President Joyce Banda, says the Peoples party is willing to form alliances with other opposition parties to address Malawi’s deepening poverty.
Banda emphasized the need for collective efforts to unseat the current administration in the upcoming polls.
She made the remarks at an engagement meeting with traders in Blantyre.
She stressed that any coalition must be built on a shared vision, common agenda, and aligned ideologies prioritizing Malawians’ welfare.
As the only female presidential aspirant, Banda reassured voters that the PP’s manifesto is people-centered, focusing on the welfare of Malawians rather than securing power.
