Government has called for the need to empower youths in a quest for the country to realize the 2063 tagged national development blueprint.

This has been said as TEVET Authority is holding the first-ever conference in Lilongwe aimed at having consolidated policies and strategies in the provision of skills development in Malawi.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Agnes Nyalonje, Minister of Labour said bringing together local and international key stakeholders in the sector will help to provide a platform to deliberate and share ideas that will see youths empowerment.
According to Nyalonje, the much touted inclusive wealth creation result will demand vast knowledge among youths so that the country increases its efforts in industrialization and agriculture productivity.
Meanwhile, Don Whayo, Board Chairperson for TEVET believes that the conference will help to come up with practical solutions to specific challenges in empowering youths.
