Malawi to start receiving rains this Monday

The department Climate Change and Meteorological Services says hot weather conditions will continue in the country, but rains are expected from Monday.

According to Jolam Nkhokwe, Director for the department of Climate Change and Meteorological Service the country should expect rains on Monday but in low amounts.

Nkhokwe has however attributed the delay in rainfall activities in the country to the lack in air masses that act as catalysts for rains which includes; Intertropical Convergence Zone and Congo Air Mass.

But Nkhokwe was hopeful that most parts of the country should be receiving rains starting from Monday next week.
