The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) says it has successfully prosecuted 30 out of the 39 cases of corruption in the country.
This was revealed when the ACB appeared before the parliamentary committee on legal affairs and government assurances while synchronizing their budget allocation for the 2024–2025 financial year.
Martha Chizuma Director General for ACB said most of the cases in court ended while some are waiting for rulings by judges.
Chizuma expressed optimism that the stalled cases including those of high profile will be completed soon.
Meanwhile Chizuma has decried underfunding to be the biggest blow for a smooth running of their services.
