The Anti Martha Chizuma grouping trading under the banner M’badwa zokhudzidwa has postponed its plans to seal the office of the ACB Director to a later date.
The grouping wants Chizuma to be fired over what they view as violation of oath office.
According to Redson Munlo, leader of the grouping, the decision has been necessitated by a direction by President Lazarus Chakwera who gave ACB 21 days to report progress on Businessperson Zunneth Sattar investigations.
“Sitikufuna kuti a Chizuma azanamizire kuti alephera kupereka lipoti pa masiku 21, chifukwa choti office yawo inatsekedwa, ndiye tayamba Kaye taimitsa ma plan athu koma masiku 21 akatha tikukatseka office,” said Munlo stating that they wish to give more time to Chizuma’s office.
Munlo has further threatened to call for President Lazarus Chakwera’s resignation if he fails to fire Chizuma after the 21 days.
