The Center for social concern says corruption in the country can be reduced only if authorities put much effort to trace various developmental projects aiming for developing the country.
Bernard Mphepo project coordinator for Center for social concern said this said this in Phalombe when the organization was civic educating people on the importance of acting on tracing developmental projects to catalyze public works in the district.
Mphepo said it’s sad that some developmental projects remain stagnant due to mismanagement of government resources including money in department.
And speaking to MIJ Online during the meeting traditional authority Nkhumba said she is worried with an increase in the in the district.
She was quick to attribute the situation to the destruction of Chimenya Bridge as it led to mobility challenges for people before she condemned government for not facilitating a quick rehabilitation of the bridge.
