CDH Bank donates to human resource conference

The CDH Investment Bank has made a worthwhile donation of MK 1 Million to the Institute of People Management Malawi for the annual conference slated for at the end of the month.

The Conference will take place from 24th – 26th October 2024 at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi under the theme “Navigating the new world of work: empowering people, embracing change, and fostering resilience in a rapidly evolving and turbulent economic environment.”

The CDH Investment Bank has made a worthwhile donation of MK 1 Million to the Institute of People Management Malawi for the annual conference slated for at the end of the month.

Speaking after making the donation, Tiyezge Matandika, Human Capital Development Manager at CDH Bank said they supported the conference given the impact that human force has to the company.

She said that they expect that delegates will tackle crucial issues aimed at improving productivity not just at the bank but in other crucial sectors as well.

“We need to ensure we have in place strategies that drive the development of employees, empower employees and help them evolve and change for the benefit of any organization or economy”, she said.

Willy Nkhoma, Executive Director of the Institute of People Management Malawi, expressed gratitude to CDH Investment Bank for the support said that the conference will also coincide with IPMM 40th anniversary celebrations.

Nkhoma said, among other things, they will deliberate on how to continue to make contributions to national agenda.
