Second vice president of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Abida Mia, says the only hope for the nation is Lazarus Chakwera.
Mia was speaking on Monday at Dinde Primary School grounds during a political rally she held.
Mia said despite facing the challenges of Covid – 19 for eight months, different cyclones, cholera and dry spells, Chakwera has delivered many developments across the country, including in Nsanje district.
She mentioned good road infrastructure, railway lines, building infrastructure and many other developments that were initiated despite facing years of challenges.
She, therefore asked people in Nsanje district to give Chakwera another five-year mandate if they want meaningful developments.
