In an interview with MIJ Online Long Zhou, the Chinese ambassador to Malawi, expressed China’s dedication to supporting the Malawi Police with counter-terrorism training, personnel development, and security equipment to safeguard the well-being of Malawians.
Meanwhile Ken Zikhale Ng’oma,Minister of Homeland Security, has highlighted that the donation will significantly alleviate mobility challenges in remote areas.
Malawi Police Inspector General, Merlyen Yolamu, has assured the Chinese government that the 30 million kwacha worth of motorcycles will be diligently maintained to effectively combat crimes in challenging, remote areas.
