Senior resident Magistrate Wanangwa Nyirenda has given a go ahead to the State, to tender as evidence documents that contain screenshots of Social media activist Joshua Chisa Mbele’s posts.
The State wants Mbele’s bail revoked saying Mbele has been breaching bail conditions through his recent posts on his Facebook page.
Mbele is being accused of defaming Army Commander General Vincent Nundwe and among his bail conditions, he was stopped from making hate posts.
Through his lawyer Gilbert Khonyongwa, Mbele was objecting to use of the documents as evidence describing them as not admissible.
But Senior resident Magistrate Wanangwa Nyirenda has allowed the State to use the documents and the matter has since been adjourned to Friday.
