EGENCO has given itself until December as deadline to deal with blackouts the country is facing.
This is according to Labren Sondhi, Director of Planning and Development for the company.
Sondhi made the commitment Monday when he appeared a joint committee on Natural resources committee, Public Accounts Committee, Trade Committee and Legal affairs committee.
According to Sondhi, there was a team working on the power restoration project to ensure work is completed as planned.
He further says that commission of enquiry has also been set up to investigate the recent national blackouts and come up with a report.
The Joint committee, summoned Egenco to the meeting to discuss current blackouts, electricity tariffs and single buyer system.
Earlier, it was reported as that EGENCO had set itself September as deadline for this problem.
