Upcoming and aspiring entrepreneurs have been tipped to act towards realizing their goals if their vision and ideas are to bear fruits.
Madalitso Malinga, an entrepreneur and founder of Sharp Chemicals Limited in Malawi has advised at a time unemployment rates continue to worsen with more graduates aspiring for self-employment.
The Polytechnic graduate of Bachelors of Science Technical Education has told MIJ Online that he started his detergents company to improve lives through cleaning environment, which is his passion and his business now offers a wide range of cleaning products in Blantyre.
“We are a manufacturing company of a wide range of cleaning detergents from dishwasher to floor cleaners, handwash, sanitizer, car wash, toilet cleaners. The biggest inspiration for me to start my company was wanting to offer solutions to people I came across, ’said Malinga.
According to Malinga, his passion started a long time ago as a child after being inspired by his parents who used to sell cleaning detergents in a small-scale business, instilling in him an entrepreneurial spirit.
“I realized all I had to do was to establish the business I had in mind when I was young. I studied the gap in the cleaning detergents, and when posing questions to many people the answers were the same: people these days are too busy, too tired, and too stressed out to clean their own homes unless they find cleaning detergents that will make their job easier.
At Sharp Chemical Limited our business branding is simply unique and captivating – the moment you see it you know we are ‘cleanerprenuers’ at heart.” Explained Malinga
He has since encouraged young and upcoming entrepreneurs to always take the first step towards realizing their dreams as that is the only way they can make their dreams come true.
The company which is located in AOK house, off Kapeni Road in Blantyre, plans to employ dozens of staff and provide quality service to customers throughout the country.
