The Financial Inclusion and Entrepreneurship Scaling (FInES) Project has reopened the application window into the game changing capacity building programme.
The programme involves Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
This follows the rising demand for the reopening of the application window to allow MSMEs who were unable to register during the initial application phase which ended on 4th July 2023.
Further, the reopening of the highly sought business skills development programme, has been triggered by preliminary findings of an ongoing baseline study which shows that there are still some vacancies in the training register.

Commenting on the development, Project Manager at the Project
Implementation Unit (PIU) Ralph Tseka said the project wanted to ensure that many businesses which are growth oriented and committed to improving their skills, can participate in the training.
Tseka further stated that the reopening does not in any way affect those who have already applied.
“If you have already applied, your application remains valid. You definitely do not need to re-apply. If you have not already heard from us, you will be hearing from us very soon.
“The countdown to the first FInES capacity building activities has begun. Planning is well advanced for kicking off what is one of the most extensive and exciting MSME growth support projects in Malawi” he said.
