Police in Nsanje Police Station have arrested four people suspected of murdering a 52-year-old man identified as Fatch Brinjal Zambasa at Kaledzera village in the district.
Nsanje Police Spokesperson, Agnes Zalakoma has identified the four as Ndale Henry, 39 from Chimpiningu village, Somanje Elisha, 33 from Thawalawa village, Zachariah Kamangira from Kaledzera village and Zimpita Tembo, 48 from Kaledzera village all in the area of Senior Chief Malemia in the district.
Zalakoma said Zambasa who was hailed from Mpamba village in the same area on May 20 went to Kaledzera village to facilitate marriage arrangements for his brother’s son.
He had not returned home until he was found dead the next morning, ‘’ says Zalakoma.
She said investigations led to the arrest of the four but one suspect is on the run.
According to Zalakoma, the four will appear before court soon to answer the charge of murder.
