High Court Judge Chifundo Kachale has adjourned to 21 and 24th January 2022 a case involving 13 police officers who are accused of murdering an albino abduction suspect Buleya Lule.
Former Acting Commissioner of Police in Central Region Evalista Chisale and twelve other police officers were charged with the murder of Buleya Lule, a suspect who died in police custody in February 2019.
Lure before his death was being accused of abduction of a 14-year-old Boy with albinism from Dedza.
And on Monday, the court convened where the state paraded four witnesses.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Lugano Mabutwa, one of the defense lawyers said they will be pleading for acquittal of his clients as they believe they cannot be held responsible for the murder.
