The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi has warned workers of taking alcohol at work and has since ordered routine testing in all its working environments.
The stern caution is contained in a memo signed by CEO Kamkwamba Kumwenda who states that the order is in line with provisions of safety a subsequent creation of an alcohol free working place.
The memo states that there will be continued testing to tame traces of the acts by workers.
