A sum of 600 billion kwacha has been set aside for the construction of 10 thousand houses for security officers across the country.
As revealed by Kezzie Msukwa, the minister of lands, the construction of these houses will be done before the end of the year 2025.
In his ministerial report presented in Parliament, Msukwa said the 600 billion will come from the Bonds that government is currently working on.
Meanwhile, Gladys Ganda, the Parliament for Nsanje Lalanje has called for a detailed report on the number of classroom blocks that have been constructed in each constituency, following observations that some constituencies have not yet received such development.
