Works for the Salima -Lilongwe Water project are expected to resume as parliament has today approved an authorization bill for government to acquire a 105-billion-kwacha loan for the resumption of the much-touted project.
According Richard Banda, Leader of the House bill has received much support from both members of Parliament.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Banda said the house is expected to pass more public interest bills including the risk management bill before the end of parliament next week.
On his part, Ralph Jooma DPP Spokesperson on finance, said the availability of enough water in Lilongwe will help improve the business sector in the country.
