There are growing cases of plagiarism by students in institutions of higher learning, authorities have said.
According to Dr Tsirizani Kaombe, Chairperson of International Biometric Society in Malawi the growing conduct is as a result of advanced technology.
In an interview with MIJ Online, Kaombe has suggested that university and colleges in the country should fully utilize software that would address the problem.
This was said during the official launch of a two-day IBS Malawi research symposium in Blantyre.
The symposium has brought together great minds in statistical and mathematical researchers, officials from ministries of Education and Health.
