Tech company to train practitioners in automation

In an effort to address lack of industrial automation skills in the country, TICHI Automation has organized a three-day industrial automation training that is targeting aspiring and active electricians, technicians and engineers.

The training is slated for 27-29 December, 2023 at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences-MUBAS formally known in Blantyre.

The training is aimed at equipping the targeted audience with computerized technological skills to operate Computer related machines.

Speaking to MIJ Online, Chimwemwe Phiri Director for TICHI Automation, emphasized the need for the country to embrace industrial automation, as it is very crucial in advancement of Industrialization which is key to the growth of the country’s Production industry.

‘As the world is going digital, it’s a high time for Malawi to embrace new systems that are beneficial to the growth of the country’s production field’ said Phiri.

Phiri added that industrial automation has a big chance to promote the country’s agricultural sector.
