𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗦 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀

General Secretary for Volleyball Association of Malawi – VAM, Jailosi Nkhoma has died this morning.

According to communication from McGodwin Mangani, Publicity Secretary for the association, Nkhoma has died at Mzuzu Central Hospital.

“Nkhoma has been in hospital since end July, where he was diagnosed with Covid19”. He said.

Meanwhile, Trust Mtegha, one of the volleyball players in the country has described the death of Nkhoma as a big blow in the development of the game.

Mtegha said, “We have lost a very passionate person in as far as volleyball is a concerned. I came to know him in 2006 when he was chairperson for Northern Region Volleyball League”.
