President Lazarus Chakwera has filled two ministerial posts by appointing Jacob Hara, MP as Minister of Transport and Public Works and renowned academician Professor Blessings Chinsinga as Minister of Local government.
The newly appointed ministers replace Lingson Belekanyama and Sidik Mia who died earlier this year.
A statement signed by Zangazanga Chikhosi, Secretary to the President and Cabinet says the appointments are with immediate effect.
At the moment, Chakwera is yet to appoint a person to serve as Minister of Energy and Labour following the firing of Ken Kandodo and Newton Kambala respectively.
