ACB Director Martha Chizuma has been sued for defamation by business person Ashok Nair who is also business associate to tycoon Zunneth Sattar.
According to Court summons the law suit is in relation to a leaked audio conversation between Chizuma and an identified male voice.
In the conversation Chizuma is perceived to have alleged of underhand dealings in his unconditional release from Police in relation to the purchase of land.
According to the court summons the claimant is demanding damages from Chizuma for allegedly putting his name in bad light in the leaked audio.
Confirming the development to MIJ FM’s Brenda Kawonga, Judiciary spokesperson Gladys Gondwe said apart from Nair’s case there are also three criminal charges that have been leveled against Chizuma.
