A law Professor with University of Malawi- Garton Kamchedzera has said what Martha Chizuma said in a leaked audio conservation alleged to be of her and unknown person does not amount to the breach of the oath of office she took.
In the purported audio Chizuma is heard talking to a male voice alleging that businessman Zunneth Sattar has captured the state.
The female voice purportedly of Chizuma alleges that some judges, magistrates and lawyers are corrupt.
But speaking to MIJ Online, Kamchedzera said listening to the audio it is very hard to get what was supposed to be kept under oath.
He said the unknown man was simply just trying to set Chizuma up but she was clever enough to avoid some questions- as she was mindful enough about the oath.
Kamchedzera claimed that in the purported audio Chizuma was speaking to a double agent who was paid to take her out and frustrate expectations of Malawians in the fight against corruption.
He added that the questions asked by the male voice in the audio – were aimed at creating a lift between Chizuma and those who support her office.
Meanwhile-a human rights activists- Sylvester Namiwa to stand with Chizuma -in the fight against corruption.
