An association of kabaza operators has urged the government to implement a policy aimed at restricting its members from operating during the night.
Moses Mwalabu, the National Coordinator for the association, has observed that kabaza operators are vulnerable during the night.
His observation also comes amid concerns from some sections of society that kabaza operators are involved in criminal activities.
To address this, Mwalabu has suggested the need to prohibit the running of this business after 9 pm.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Mwalabu revealed that this proposal was already submitted to the Malawi Police Service for consideration.
