President Peter Mutharika has appointed a new Attorney General and several other top officials, effective immediately.
According to a statement signed by Justin Saidi Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, the key appointments are: Frank Mbeta as Attorney General, Gertrude Hiwa as Solicitor General and Fostino Maele as Director of Public Prosecutions.
Mutharika has also named Cathy Maulidi as Press Secretary, Henry Mukhuna as Chief Advisor on Manifesto Implementation.
Meanwhile, Apostle Timothy Khoviwa has been appointed as Chief Advisor on Religious Affairs.
