The Malawi Police Service has cancelled a media briefing which was scheduled for today in relation to its inquiry with Martha Chizuma, Director General for the Anti- Corruption Bureau.
Last Friday, Police announced the media briefing after they suspended their interrogation with Chizuma on a leaked audio conversation she had with a yet to be identified person.

However, Harry Namwaza, Deputy Spokesperson for the Malawi Police Service has confirmed that the briefing planned for today has now been cancelled.
According to Namwaza, this is because of a high court order which has halted the Police investigations on Chizuma.
