Classes were disrupted at Lumbira primary and secondary schools in Blantyre following an invasion of bees.
Reports say the incident came after the head teacher approached a beehive around the school premises.
It is said hell broke loose after the bees followed him due to what people suspect was the perfume he wore.
Eyewitnesses say the head teacher then began running for his life before the bees spread to the other classrooms of the two nearby schools.
As we published this post, over twenty pupils including the head teacher were reportedly unconscious.
Some of the pupils have since been rushed to Chilomoni Health Centre for treatment.
Meanwhile, the Blantyre City Council has sent officials to spray chemicals at the bees.
