In preparation for the Institute of People Management of Malawi’s annual conference, institutions have been advised to embrace technological advancements.
The conference, themed “Human Resources Management: Fostering Productivity, Diversity, and Change in Multi-Generational, Technology-Driven Workplaces,” will occur from November 2nd to 4th at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi district.
Rex Kadzongwe, Group Human Capital Executive, at Old Mutual Malawi, stressed the importance of the conference for skill development and enhancing worker productivity.
In support of this, Kadzongwe said Old Mutual has donated 3 million towards the conference’s implementation.
On his side, Godwin Ng’oma, President of IPMM, expressed gratitude for the financial support, which will contribute to the conference’s success.
Ng’oma emphasized the necessity for institutions to adapt to technological advancements to align with the national blueprint for 2063.
