Airtel Malawi has pumped in 25 million Kwacha to the Malawi national football team Afcon fundraising drive which is known as Kuipatsa Moto Flames.
Announcing the news in Lilongwe Charles Kamoto Executive Director for Airtel said they thought of supporting the team so that they could ease the burden for the team ahead of their participation in African Cup of Nations AFCON competition.
And on his part Jabber Alide vice president for FAM hailed Airtel’s gesture saying it will go along way in supporting the team so that they deliver at AFCON competition.
According to Alide this is the biggest donation to the drive thus far.
