CDH Investment Bank has emphasized the importance of collaboration with Members of Parliament (MPs) in driving sustainable development in Malawi.
Speaking at a cocktail reception hosted for MPs, Chief Business Development Officer Jamal Kamoto highlighted the bank’s commitment to working closely with lawmakers to promote good governance, private sector growth, and national development.

Kamoto urged MPs to prioritize policies that foster a conducive environment for investment and inclusive growth.
Specifically, he requested that MPs reduce interest rates, encourage policies that lower interest rates to stimulate investment and economic growth.
Kamoto also pleaded with the lawmakers to develop and implement policies that ensure food security, a critical aspect of national development.
In a show of commitment to supporting parliamentary initiatives, CDH Investment Bank contributed K10 million towards the orientation program for newly elected MPs.
Clerk of Parliament Fiona Kalemba expressed gratitude for the bank’s generous support, noting that it would significantly enhance the capacity of incoming MPs to deliver their parliamentary functions effectively.
