The Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC) has described the just ended Japan Expo 2025 as a ‘success’.
This comes as today marks the official closing of the 2025 Expo after 184 days of holding the event.
The Japan Expo brought together 167 countries and international organizations.
In a statement the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC) noted that the expo helped to showcase the country’s diverse local products and vast investment potential, attracting international visitors and investors.
It further stated that officials engaged prominent Japanese business leaders, strengthening Malawi-Japan relations and promoting opportunities in the blue economy and trade.
On the other hand the expo has helped authorities to discuss investment opportunities with Toyota in Malawi’s mineral wealth and electric vehicle battery materials.
