The Malawi Scorchers are in a swim-or-sink ride as they face Angola in their Group A match of the 2025 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship.
This comes as Scorchers tournament hopes are hanging in the balance for them to progress to the next stage.
The team needs to win against Angola by a margin of more than four goals for them to be on a safer side.
The match will be played at Peter Mokaba Stadium from 3pm this afternoon.
The outcome of the match could also have implications to teams in other groups, including Zimbabwe and Zambia, who are also vying for a spot in the next round.
Meanwhile, Mozambique will be looking to secure a win over Madagascar to keep their chances alive.
