The Malawi Prison Services has become the latest public institution whose headquarters has relocated to Lilongwe.
The headquarters had been operating from the old capital city Zomba and has now headed to Lilongwe.
This is the not the first public institution after the Malawi Electoral Commission, the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority, the Malawi Housing Corporation whose head offices also relocated to the capital city.
Meanwhile, Chimwemwe Shaba, spokesperson for the Malawi Prison Services has said the department will now have improved operations as they are close to the capital hill.
