Blue Eagles a claimed a 2-nil win on Sunday over new comers Rumphi United to have two back to back wins in the TNM Super League.
The Eagles headed into this match at the back of their 1 nil win over Mafco while Rumphi lost to Silver 1 nil on Saturday.
But led by Coach Eliah Kananji, the Lilongwe based side scored through Gilbert Chirwa and John Malidadi Junior in the first half to claim the three points.
This now means Blue Eagles lead the standings with six points while Rumphi are on position 16.
In other matches, Kamuzu Barracks and Tigers played out to a one all draw while Ekwendeni drew 2 all with Mafco.
There were stalemates also between new comers Dedza who drew one all against Karonga and no goal was recorded when Sable Farming faced TN Stars at Mpila stadium in Blantyre.
