Authorities say there is a need to embrace digital platforms saying that this is crucial in advancing education standards in the country.
This has been said at the start of a two-day annual national conference for the Independent Schools Association of Malawi (ISAMA) in Lilongwe.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Wycliff Chimwendo President for ISAMA said the conference is focusing on coming up with solutions to current impact of climate change and find better ways for schools to embrace digitalisation.
According to Chimwendo use of digital platforms would help to prevent negative impacts of climate change such as cyclones which end up affecting education in the country.
Meanwhile, Madalitso Kambauwa Wilima Minister of Education says the focus of the meeting is vital as currently the country is still recovering from the global shocks including cyclones and COVID 19.
