The Football Association of Malawi President Walter Nyamilandu Manda has described the new FIFA Academy project as a way to go in developing football in the country.
According to Manda, the project is a dream come true as it has been in the pipeline for ages.
He adds that people in the country have been heavily waiting for the project as everyone believes in the future.
And on his part, Gerson Fernandez FIFA Director Member Association in Africa says they have chosen Malawi to be among the three countries due to its vibrant passion for football development.
Fernandez added that Malawi is another better football country a thing which will be realised more through the incoming Mzuzu FIFA Academy.
