Some government interns have threatened to demonstrate to force government pay them their monthly stipend that dates back April this year.
The interns who are about six thousand in total say some of them have not been paid since April while others since July.
Arthur Chadokota president of the wailing interns said due to the development, they are failing to make ends meet and others have since been evicted from the houses they have been staying due to non-payment of house rentals.
According to Chadokota, their engagement with government officials from the ministry of labour has been fruitless hence opting to go into the streets on Friday December 17th to have their concerns heard.
