The Indian government has gifted Malawi with Anti-Cancer medicines worth 1.4 million US dollars and 200 laptops to Malawi Parliament.
Announcing the assistance after holding Malawi-India bilateral meeting, Shri. Vellamvelly Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India responsible for African Affairs said the Indian government is also expediting the process of gifting Malawi with cancer equipment for Malawi’s Cancer center.
While thanking the Indian government for the support, Nancy Tembo foreign affairs minister also hailed the good relationship that is there between the two countries.
Meanwhile, President Lazarus Chakwera and his Vice Saulos Chilima are expected to meet Muraleedharan, tomorrow.
