The Parliamentary committee on Agriculture wants Grain Trader Admarc to stop its decision to dispatch 100, 000 metric tons of Maize to Zimbabwe.
The Committee which is fearing that the country would be affected by the decision as it has no enough Maize is also worried that Admarc Management was not aware of the sale plans.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Sameer Suleman Chairperson of the Committee said Admarc should stop the decision for the betterment of the nation.
Suleman also expressed worry with a revelation that Admarc has 2,632 unqualified employees who were taken on board without going through any interviews.
Alexander Kusamba Dzodzi Admarc Board Chair has told MIJ Online, that Admarc has taken note of the recommendation and will act accordingly.
