Over 100 people in Chiradzulu district are expected to benefit from improved health service delivery at Providence Industrial Mission Clinic.
It follows a commitment by the Foreign Mission Board to extend the health facility in order to accommodate more patients seeking medical attention at the clinic.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Reverend Terrence Griffith Director of Foreign Mission Board- said the board had noticed that people in the district are still struggling to access quality health services at the institution hence the decision.
”There are many sectors that we want improve at the institution, but our priority is to improve health services at the institution,” said Griffith.
According to Griffith, improved health service delivery at the institution will help in boosting social economic development in the district.
Meanwhile, Steve Thamanda Chairman for Board of Trustees at Providence Industrial Mission has welcomed the development, as improved health service delivery at PIM clinic will ease pressure at Chiradzulu district hospital.
Foreign Board Mission, is the Organization that trained John Chilembwe and started providing financial support in 1900 up to date.
The Organization is largest black missionary in United States of America of the National Baptist Convention.
