Malawi has signed sixteen trade deals with Indian investors, aiming to reinforce the nation’s exportation to the Asian country.
During the signing ceremony at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe, President Lazarus Chakwera reiterated his government’s dedication to expanding trade opportunities for economic advancement.
In an interview with MIJ Online Sosten Gwengwe, Minister of Trade, said the investment is a significant investment for the country’s ongoing development, highlighting India as a valuable partner in this regard.
Meanwhile Sunil Hukumatray Rajdev, leader of Indian delegation, has disclosed plans for investments in the ICT and tourism sectors, further strengthening ties between the two nations.
