Misanjo leaves local boxing competitions
Boxer Charles Misanjo says he will no longer take part in local fights blaming promoters of placing lower prize money in the wake of his recent loss to Kudakwache Nkhakamila Banda in Lilongwe.
This brings to rest viral reports that were drawn from his reactions that he is retiring.
But the former national middleweight Champion insists he is only exempting himself from local fights and will place ultimate focus on internationals ones whose promoters he feels are way professional. retirement in boxing after he lost a none title bout to at M1 Centre point.
“I will from now only be partaking in international boxing because that’s where we make real money. I am tired of receiving peanuts. This is a risky sport and a serious one “he said.
