The National Bank of Malawi has made a K2.5 million sponsorship for the holding of the Wealth Woman Summit slated for the weekend in Lilongwe.
NBM’s Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager Akossa Hiwa, said the donation is part of efforts to empower women.
She said as part of such commitments, the bank has a 41 percent women workforce.
Speaking after receiving the donation, CEO Africa Roundtable Malawi Chapter, George Damson, said the support will go a long way in assisting them execute a successful event.
He said the summit will be celebrated under the theme: ‘‘inspiring inclusion’’.
