The Ministry of Health has disclosed that the second phase of the polio vaccine campaign will commence next month.
The development comes as government has managed to achieve 102% polio vaccination rate in the first campaign.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Adrian Chikumbe spokesperson for the ministry of health –has attributed the high vaccination rate in the first phase to the door to door campaign- as well as the trained personnel who administered the vaccine.
